The finished product, rifle blueing project.

Re-stained all the wood and fresh lacquer. Cleaned and re-blued all the metal. Turned out not bad methinks. Before and after, hope they come out in order 🙄

@TexChik yep, it didn’t require much. For an old rifle it was an incredibly tight fit. Surprised the hell out of me.

@Cuda6868 the tight fit from the chamber to the end of the stock will rob you of accuracy. I can slide a dollar between the stock and the barrel all the way to the chamber . If it’s not accurate that will usually do it . The bluing was spectacular .

@Cuda6868. That was the first high power rifle I ever owned. A friend gave it to me to start deer hunting. Mine was beat up ugly.
