Balancing Work And Hobbies

Hobbies and Work normally don't mix, and typically hobbies pack the most fun out of the two. It's an escape from the hustle and bustle, and some of us wish it goes on forever.

Do you treat hobbies purely as an escape you look forward to at the end of the day, or just something different to make your daily lives more tolerable?

I am retired now so my hobbies and their associated social lives, form most of my life. While working, they were both escape and the "something different".

I worked for more than forty years in several different companies, doing different things, and some work was more bearable than others.
