I want to grow those. I've grown for the first time some sprouting old potatoes and so far they are a doing well. Yours look very exotic. Hope they taste good. Mine won't be harvested for a couole of months.
@CountScrofula i could have waited until september.. probably should have but they were the last thing in that section of my garden and I got impatient. Now all that i have left growing is my tomatoes and carolina reapers
@Freeranger these are "Purple Magesty" its a midseason crop, harvest from chitted is about 2 months or 3 months if straight to soil after last frost. Mulch deeply to keep early and late blights back and watch for signs of verticillum wilt. Zones 3 through 9.. basically everywhere. Storage for potatoes is a complicated subject. Everyone has their own methods. Depends on how many you plant and your climate/ housing
@VampireOfDesire so i did make some home fries, when you crisp up the skins and exposed sides, they turn brown. The inside stayed a blueish purple though.
