SW wouldn't let me post with the original title, which is why it has this stupid one.

Today started out bad for me since I'd forgotten my meds yesterday and days after that happens tend to be rough. But after lunch I was feeling a lot better, and Richard and I went up against these two Hungarian kids in a game of 40k. We stomped them pretty easily because they seemed hellbent on not communicating and coordinating with one another, and for some reason were more afraid of my Hive Tyrant than Richard's Ghostkeel (the latter is insanely scary, with hard hitting guns and can only be dealt with effectively in melee); most of my army died, but we whittled them down effectively (or Richard did) to the point that if the game had gone on any longer they'd have two weakened and near-destroyed armies vs his basically unscathed Tau army. While the older brother was quite unwilling to listen to the younger brother, the younger one was at least willing to try to coordinate and strategise - even if he didn't really know what he was doing. I think with great effort we can mould that one into a good player.

Then Richard and I played a couple of games against each other, my Tyranids vs his Tau. The Tyranids lost both times, but each time was quite close; I think I just have to get more used to how the bugs play, which is more positioning- and cover-oriented than my marines tend to be.

And to round out the day, Richard bought me $250 of GW vouchers for my birthday on Tuesday to put towards the upcoming Horus Heresy box set. I told him he didn't have to get me anything, but he did anyway which was immensely nice of him.

I know your feeling since I have the similiar feeling when I forgot to take my humble meds or Absinthe.

@ByronTheRefinedMan Please don't make light of this. It's quite uncouth.
