@Carlisle that sounds really cool even tho I'm not quite sure what it is lol. My gym reopened but the hot tub has not. I used to use it as an incentive to go - I told myself I couldn't go in unless I did my entire planned workout lol. I miss it.

@NotJamieM here 😃this is the one. They have foot jets, laying down jets, seated jets and two power showers that you can get massaged with. One looks like a water fall. [media=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D4UGaDVlki8]

@Carlisle oh wow that looks awesome. That's almost better than a hot tub, lol. It looks like it's in the common area of the gym so everyone can use it at once.

considering one for medical reasons; while they're a bit pricier, I'd probably go with a salt water hot tub as they're less maintenance, don't cause skin pruning, and don't irritate like chlorine

They feel good ! They increase circulation via Vasodilation and allows skeletal muscle to relax .

The salt water tub saves money in the long run and you aren’t buying chemicals. Just salt .
Knew a couple couples that owned them and they both ended Up getting rid of them over the years 🤔 high maintenance and expensive over time I’m told.

Not really sure how expensive but that’s what I got from what they told

@Teggy ya that makes sense! Did they use them for entertaining?
@Datawonk I liked them when we went over lol.
Datawonk · 26-30, M
@Teggy fun! I’d just hate cleaning it after entertaining lol

You have to be a very dedicated hot tubber to justify the cost and maintenance of the tub. The novelty soon wears off and the allure of sitting in one fades quickly. Not a worthwhile purchase in my opinion.

Had one for years but we got rid of it. It is definitely nice and relaxing but you have to keep up with it.

@Ravens80 was it worth it for entertaining?

I had one. I was nice for relaxation and treatment of aches and pains. I seldom used it so I gave it to my daughter's family.

Bought an intex inflatable hot tub last yr. Well worth it and in the winter I move it to my basement.
Not worth it. It just sits there in the corner. Same with living on the beach, unless you surf, forget it.
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
No, but I want one.

I had one but destroyed it after I had it for quite some time. ..it was leaking from underneath. I don't miss it. I prefer the sauna.
