Looking forward to gaming with my friends tomorrow :D
It seems to be becoming a weekly (or twice weekly) thing now, and I always look forward to it. Tomorrow we're playing 40k and Middle-earth, which is something I've not played in a fair while. Hopefully the Elves of Rivendell can prevail, since they usually used to - they're quite a strong army regardless of the fact that their army bonus is basically worthless and entirely unusable, which you'd hope they would be given how many points each warrior is.
I'm feeling a lot better than I had been last night or even this morning. I even managed to get two Rivendell army lists planned for tomorrow! The first list is Glorfindel and Erestor (my two favourite models in the entire Middle-earth range) backed up by 24 warriors, and the second list is the 'Rivendell Polo Association' of Elrond on horse backed up by a dozen of his closest horse riding friends. I've no idea how many people form an actual polo team, it just seemed a good name for an elite all-cavalry army.
