It's really not. What makes it hard is that whoever is teaching you is guaranteed to be freaking out about their car the entire time, and the pressure makes it tough to actually follow instructions and build up the muscle memory.
But having been the person doing the teaching so many times... fuck if it isn't heartbreaking 😂
So I guess the trick is to do it in a third party's car - or yours if you already have one.

@Sambriggs96 You'll start to smell it before doing much real damage. Then let it sit and cool down for a while.
But it's fine, really. Automotive clutches are no big deal, they're usually pretty easy to get the feel for.
