@OfflineFriend It sounds fuckin' retarded. "Spook-tober." Like, you can't do that. You can't add some random word over the first syllable of "October" and have it work. It makes sense for "Rocktober" because that rhymes with "October". And "Inktober" works because it's only changing one vowel sound. But dumb shit like "spooktober" or "Janetober" make no sense.

@OfflineFriend Besides, it came from the stupid "spoopy" memes. There's a very fine line between the Skeleton War jokes, which are funny, and the dumb ass cancerous Vent kiddie meme shit.

@basilfawlty89 But since you asked. Janetober is something that an artist on Deviant Art is doing. He does comics, and one of his popular characters is named Jane Carson. Honestly, I like his art a lot, he does good comics. But he's decided to draw a pencil sketch of Jane every day for this month and is calling is "Janetober."

@basilfawlty89 It's usually not too bad but my time on Vent has made me hypersensitive to it since there's so many goofy ass T.O.P-rabid transgender preteens on the site who foam at the mouth over "spoopy" memes and seasonal emotion sets for the fucking "aesthetic."

@BlueMetalChick I stopped using Vent tbh. I mean, I support what they're doing and I support it being a venting space for trans people, a lot of trans people I'm friends with really struggle and it helps there's a place they can post without judgement, but Vent also has this fucking cliquishness.

@basilfawlty89 The only reason I showed up was cos like half of EP moved there after EP hit the dirt, since Apple bought the rights to the site's format and used it to make Vent. It turned into a horrendous social experiment. I'm stuck there even though I hate it only cos I have friends that I can't contact any other way.
