Growing up in a small town this is how we got our bait for fishing. Other kids would save their money for the ice cream truck or Family Dollar. But we would save up to but worms. And there was always a line.
@MethDozer No, never heard of that one. There was a drainage ditch near our home that was always moist. We would go out at night with a flashlight and grab them.
Those didn't come around till I was in my late teens. Honestly I only seen them around the city or suburbs and the bait I ever got from one was expensive and sometimes dead.
The one where i grew up was ran by the general store it was at. They would stock it when they weren’t open on sundays so you could still get bait @MethDozer
