lol who tf uses Steam
@BlueMetalChick
- People who don't want to deal with messing around, having to install patches for a game every time the game brings them out.
- People who don't want to deal with the nightmare of program errors (i.e. IT novices)
- People don't want to deal with the maintenance of having to download and install a new version of the game every time one is out. It just downloads and auto-updates.
- People who want easy backwards compatibility. All of the betas and stable releases you downloaded are kept nicely in one place and all you have to do is select which one you want to play from the dropdownlist (granted, this is lazy but it helps the IT novices).

It's the entire reason why Steam came into existence in the first place. Just pick up and play. No hassle.

@Existentior Exactly! Also, mods lol
@Zer0Point That reminds me! People who don't want their game experience ruined by cheaters! Although.. in xbox live this can be a problem sometimes with old games. All the stupid mod loaders online ruining the game.. all the glitchers..
