I Want to Take Better Care of My Health

Our office will start implementing stricter measures to prevent the spread of nCOV.

We'll start using thermal scanners. Hand sanitizers at the doors had already been in place ever since, but we now have to use them EVERY time. I really don't like wearing these masks, but now I must.

The first case of nCOV in the country was announced yesterday.

I was at the grocery store a few days ago, and several Asians there were wearing surgical masks. I wore one two-weeks ago, as I recovered from the flu. Now, I’m thinking of donning one again, even though I’m in the States.

I think it’s wise to implement those measures. Anything to help reduce the risk.

@Carissimi you are better protected by washing your hands with soap and water and keeping your hands away from your face

I do that anyway, but I know I contracted the flu while I was Christmas shopping, and so many people were coughing without covering their mouths. One guy just about coughed in my face as he was passing. I thought, “ Oh, God, don’t let me catch anything,” but I did, and was very sick for 3-weeks. If a mask can help me reduce the risk, Ill wear one. I don’t want to go through that again. @samueltyler2

@Carissimi but, a standard surgical mask is inlikely to provide any safety!

They hand out masks at the doctor’s office, and you have to wear them. It does reduce the spread of infection, so if everyone wears one, it makes a difference. @samueltyler2
