Should healthcare be free in America like it is Canada & Other countries

Well by now the American people should have decent health care it's a shame what are senior citizens going to pay for health care and for Medicare and also it's a shame that working people can't afford health care and they try they can't even get Medicaid and this is really sad if you think about it

Anything free is a scam. If medical is free to public, it means that politicians earn the money through the pharmas as there is no check on pharmas charging an exorbitant price.

Believe me, healthcare is not free in Canada. Our tax base is much higher than in the US, nothing is free!!

It's not that free here. We pay big time.

it depends on what insurance you have in usa, my ins. pays almost everything,. any major operation, i just pay $20.all depends on where you got health coverage from, state federal private companies, then if very broke and on welfare they give them free care,could be 20 people in a room and everyone has different coverage

I'm Lucky to have citizenships to other countries. I can get the option of universal healthcare or cheap private health care. However, private health care has better quality and you aren't waiting for a long time. There's pros and cons to both. this is why medical tourism is such a booming industry
