Who here is over 50 & don't have any health problems?

@Musicman Arthritis in my hands and knees. Thats about it with me

@HumanEarth That's not to bad. The doctor says the replacements only last about 10 to 15 years so he would like me to be closer to 70 before he does the surgery. I am 61 now.

@Musicman I don't know whether to laugh or cry. 🙂

@maskedbandit As long as I didn't try using my arm above shoulder height or sleep on it wrong I am in pretty good shape. He said all the cartilage is gone between my shoulder bones. He did say that when it starts grinding the nerve endings he doesn't care how old I am he will schedule the surgery.

@Musicman what caused the need for the shoulder replacement?

@fishescycle I really have no idea.

@Musicman It's not that bad because my leg grew new veins, but that's the problem. This is no joke. I promise. 🙂

@maskedbandit Are the extra veins hurting you?

@Musicman Yes, it still not caring enough blood sufficiently for me to be able to walk far distances.

@maskedbandit I am sorry to hear that. What can the doctors do for you?

@Musicman Well, they don't want to do surgery on my main artery to replace it, because they are afraid it will burst the new veins and cause me more problems. Soo, until the blood stops circulating all together in my leg, they will, every so often, keep trying to get through my main artery.

@maskedbandit Do they think you will make a full recovery?

@Musicman We never really talked about that. It's kind of play it by ear thing. LOL

@maskedbandit that's naughty. If you need it they should do it. In 10 years time they can do it again.
