I'd bet money you're smarter than you think you are, but nursing absolutely takes a certain kind of person. I can't do it; maybe you can. All I can say is, infinite patience is a requirement for sanity.

With all due respect, you shouldn’t be picky. And you’d sure make more working in fast food or as a dishwasher. And who knows? Maybe you’ll be good at it and actually enjoy it.

@Ducky it takes patience and you have to be nice to people no matter what and i have a hard time watching my mouth and being sassy. Besides it's for the smart people and the young not some old bag like me

What about half way? Carers are in big demand in most countries and often good perks with the job too.

@meggie NEVER do something because it pays well. You'll be miserable unless you love the work and there's little work harder than nursing.
