A fun afternoon turns bad

So the boy's went swimming with Star.

Sissy and i went to Red Robin and the books store.

We got home about the same time and as usually I had Link tell me about their day first. He talked longer than usually and TT went to the restroom.

Once Link finished telling me about his day i called for TT. I had my ice water and was ready to listen to his day.

He used his calm feet and walked towards me. I don't know happened but all of a suddehe screamed like i have never heard before. He most of jammed his toe on the chair. There was so much blood and his big toe nail was half ripped off.

We went to the er and out poor little boy has two broken toes, a removed big toe nail and 4 stitches.

Nothing a little chicken and rice casserole, ice cream and mario kart can't fix.

@Poppies Link has very upset because he didn't understand what happened to TT. Sissy was in her room with her headphones on so she didn't hear.

OMG 2 broken toes. Poor kid. He will bounce back soon enough. Hopefully avoid worse in the future.

Accidents can happen so easily.
It must have been very painful for more than an hour, until painkillers were administered at the ER.
Broken toes and a destroyed toenail. Double ouch.

@Gusman i know he is my hero. He was brave at er. We gave him Tylenol and have ice on it. He seems to be in no pain right now

@Musicman i sure hope so. Hes fighting sleep as we speak, in a bean bag chair, with his foot up playing Mario party
