Telling Jeremy what happened

Being able to tell him—and knowing they were able to replace the defective valve in his heart—is something we will never forget. Just a few months ago, we were facing the possibility that he might only have a year or less. Now, hearing that this could give him 10 to 20 more years… it’s truly priceless.

I’m still completely exhausted and haven’t slept yet. And a bit overwhelmed and a little sad.

His doctor is coming in around 8 to talk with us about the IV treatments and what it will take to get him back home.
