Lastest update

As of right now, there is nothing new to report. He is stable, and he is resting. For now, they are only allowing our buddy and me to see him, and no other visitors. We have not told the niños how serious everything is right now because they would not be able to come see him in the ICU anyway. There is no point in putting that burden on them yet. Once he is moved to a regular room, we will figure out the best way to explain things to them

@Musicman Fixing the defect was a huge step, and it was not something they would normally attempt under most circumstances. But because he was in a medical crisis, they had no choice and moved forward with it. Right now, his stats are looking good, but he is still in the ICU and will likely remain there until tomorrow.
Recovery is going to be challenging. We all know he is not someone who can sit still for long, but at the same time, they cannot keep him heavily medicated for weeks. It is going to take a lot of patience, close monitoring, and one step at a time, but we are thankful he made it through such a critical surgery.
