I am home from the ER

I think everyone for your kind thoughts and prayers for the past month that you have given my family this is obviously been one of the hardest things that any family should ever have to go through. So thank you again

I am home now I've been diagnosed with a concussion a broken nose and a orbital fracture and a partially dislocated jaw. So I am to sleep in a recliner for the next two weeks because they do not want me laying down at all. I get to go in next week for them to reset my nose which I'm sure that's not going to be fun. They gave me some new anxiety meds and some different sleeping pills to try but I'm going to talk to my neurologist and therapist before I take the new sleeping pills. Right now I've taken my anxiety pills and I am feeling pretty pretty good lol.

We're going to have very chill night have shepherd's pie even though I've been told that my version is not really shepherd's pie but that's what I call it so I'm okay with it.

The boys are going to play fortnite with their friends online Sissy will probably read books as she's still not feeling the best.

And there will definitely be no cigars or whiskey for me tonight or the next few nights I'm sure.

Right now I'm chilled listening to the Royals game on the radio looking forward to real baseball in a few weeks.

@Cigarguy It is a privilege and an honor. I had a concussion one time. The entire left side of my face was black and blue. For three days it hurt my head to touch my pillow. I couldn't watch TV because the movement of the people gave me motion sickness. I couldn't handle light or noise either. It does get better though.

Three years ago I had surgery to fix a deviated septum. After the surgery I couldn't breathe through my nose for three days. I was terrified that if I slept I would close my mouth and die from not breathing.
