He didn't argue with me to much

Probably because he didn't want to put up a fight knowing our youngest was also going and he was very scared.

So now we're at the ER and nothing makes me feel better than seeing Joel's ex wife is our nurse on shift. Someone I know and trust!

They started IV's on both of them and are doing some blood work.

And here's a shocker Joel's blood sugar was very very low. Not how I wanted him to get blood work done but I'll take it.

My tiny tornado is being so brave right now. I did bring is favorite stuffed animal and blanket to help keep him calm.

I hate ER's they are such a trigger for me. I did bring my air pods though so hopefully that will help.

@geoam1 well I don't think he'll have much of a choice about getting it figured out now that his ex wife has seem his chart.

I feel like I'm barely keeping it together right now. But I'm doing my best

I'm so glad that Joel's blood sugar is being addressed! Major silver lining!
@Poppies me too and now that his ex wife is his nurse I'm sure he doesn't have much say in the matter any more lol
@Cigarguy101 My sister in law is a weekend charge nurse on the respiratory floor several hours away, her and I are cordial at best, I hope she never becomes my nurse if I have to go to her hospital.

I am sure your tiny tornado will be alright. Joel should have seen his primary physician about his weak condition. You are very brave and committed for taking care of your sick family members.
@Barefooter25 he is not very happy right now but he won't argue with his ex wife. My boy is doing so much better, I think they gave him some nausea meds too. I think one the IVs are done we will get go home
Dang, lots going for ya'll! Praying for you all!
@Promises thank you very much
I think ERs are triggering for most people.
@Mamapolo2016 thankfully we have our own room in the back so that helps, but holding in my tics sucks
