I know it makes sense, but I am still baffled

I have been in the hospital more in the past four years, than in the previous 60+ years combined.

I know it can be attributed to my aging body wearing out, but I still have to fight it.

Fighting it on the physical front, the mental front, the emotional front, toughest battle around. And along the way, even with an understanding about growing older, when the reality truly hits it hits like a ton of bricks. With a newfound understanding and respect for those who’ve already been fighting this battle of a lifetime.
