Thought from a Hospital Bed

waiting on breakfast then PT. not much to do but think. here goes todays thoughts. if you flatline in the hospital will unplugging you and quickly plugging you back in be a potential lifesaver. and now an even better thought. can't sleep on my belly or bad side only on my back or good side with a pillow under my tushie or between my legs. if you're ever in the hospital trying to get comfortable and fluffing that pillow will you be wondering where it has been before they gave it to you. as you guessed I'm bored as hell here

Save your strength. You can not fluff a hospital pillow.
@Degbeme one of the first things you realize once you're admitted

@saragoodtimes Exactly.
@Degbeme sounds like you're speaking from experience too. did you count the ceiling panels and tiles on the bathroom floor too

@saragoodtimes I counted so many things when I was in. 🙄 I finally broke down and got my wife to bring in my tablet.
@Degbeme asked my nurse if I get a prize if I guess how many cotton balls are in the canister by the sink

@saragoodtimes She said no.
@Degbeme asked my Dad to bring me some glue. see what I can make with those tongue depressors

@saragoodtimes My rooms never had any of those. 😒
@Degbeme I have a VIP room. no roommate, a nurse and aide right outside my door. a benefit of being married to a doctor here at the hospital

@saragoodtimes I had a private room both times I was in. No special treatment though.
