Seriously, I'm a big fan of the wonders of modern chemistry in some instances. Lamictal (Lamotrogine) is a seizure medication that works great as a mood stabilizer. Anyway, when they added Lamictal to my med cocktail, it was like night and day. In around 90 days I went from non functional to functional. I've been having some difficulty in the last few months because I got careless with taking my meds, but I'm re-adjusting and getting back on keel.
I kind of wish that the stuff that really 'does' make you feel good could be used. You know? Like preludin, oxy, Tuinol, dexadrine, amphetamine sulfate, dilaudid, stuff like that? ...but realistically you have to go with the stuff that doesn't cause euphoria, and takes time to work. It's a damn shame, cause euphoria is nice. It's too bad that there is the necessity of a social stigma against 'addiction'. (I'm going to be misunderstood ........again. I know it.) I'm not glorifying or advocating drug abuse, I'm just saying, it's too bad that reality dictates that we have to avoid those drugs that cause euphoria.
