Only Showering with Water

For the past couple of weeks I have only showered with warm water now let me tell you...this is so freaking amazing.I do put on deodorant, add body spray, and lotion but that is about it.I hardly use soap anymore unless I'm washing my hands.Soaps these days ruin PH balance and can actually wash the away the natural oils of the body.Try it out and let me know how it goes for you.

That's a cool start, but then you use deodorant which blocks pathways to detox and you use body spray that contains pthalates that messes up our hormones? Why not get away from all that shit?

@Peaceful: They really do. I can agree with that.
Peaceful · F
@UndeadPrivateer: one day, I'm getting closer by the hour ✌🏼️

@Peaceful: You know what Peaceful you are right but I spray the perfume on my cloths not directly on my skin.So hopefully by it being on my clothes it doesn't ruin my hormones O.O. With deodorant I use lemon juice and baking soda.

I can't do that. I am addicted to showering with orange juice.
OpalFlower · 31-35, F
@Mordimoux: That is a first I've ever heard someone say they showered with orange juice.Unless you are joking lol.
Mordi · 31-35, M

@GypsyKing: true
OpalFlower · 31-35, F
@GypsyKing: Well with my deodorants I try to use lemon juice and baking soda.
It changes your ph for like 15 minutes & the oils return. The disgusting tap water is probably worse for your body.
OpalFlower · 31-35, F
@Selah: Lol well the disgusting tap water is doing it's job in keeping my skin feeling refreshed and clean. And thanks for letting me know that it changes my PH balance for 15 but I will lay off the soap. :D

Have you tried organic soap?
OpalFlower · 31-35, F
@BlueRane: Yes I have tried organic soap with Shea Butter and Coconut oil in them. The water is actually working out for me.
BlueRaine · 51-55, F
That's great news!!! It's much better for you.

I will. I actually attempted this a few times... I will try it again.
OpalFlower · 31-35, F
Have you tried adding any hair moisturizers like Shea Butter,Olive Oil,or Coconut Oil?That usually helps my hair from being dry.
SW-User
no... I thought about the coconut oil idea.
OpalFlower · 31-35, F
Yeah try it out and let me know how it works for you.Just make sure that you use organic oils because brands like Palmer I stay away from.Nubian Heritage actually sell some pretty neat products as well.
