Has anyone been to rehab?

For alcohol, drugs, etc. How was it?

I'm thinking I need to finally give it a go.

I did it cold turkey.. but I went to live at my uncle's in utah for 3 months.. no friends no contacts.. no distractions.. no car even. I just hiked around in the forest alone and cried a lot.
