Aww, being a vegetarian isn't a punishment. It's actually really easy to avoid meat these days and still have an interesting, wide-ranging diet. And think of all the benefits. Lower incidence of cancer, heart disease, diabetes, lower blood pressure, easier to maintain a healthy weight with less saturated fat. And perhaps you can still eat fish.

@GlassDog: Correct, I lost 5 kgs after being vegetarian, that sums all.

@Simplegirlstory: It's definitely easier when eating less fat!

@GlassDog: I know. It's actually not that bad. I was joking mostly. It's just annoying because my dad thinks vegetarianism is a type of eating disorder... I have no idea why, but that's just how he thinks. The man won't eat steak unless it's 3+ inches thick.
I mean to begin with I haven't been able to eat a lot of red meat since I was little. For the most part before I was mostly eating chicken and seafood, but right now all of that makes me really extremely sick. Though I just had my gallbladder removed and I might have pancreatitis so I'm not completely healthy right now. But who knows. If I get to the point I can eat meat again I might decide that I don't want to. Right now it's all about doing what's best for me and trying to get healthy again- including trying to gain and maintain weight since I'm a bit underweight still.

@NaturallyPeculiar: Yeah, some people think that something is correct just because they like it, or just because they see others doing it. If you do anything different, it must automatically be wrong or a disorder or some aberration. Humans are designed to eat "some" meat, but nothing like the amount we do.
Your health is absolutely the main thing you should be focussing on. Doesn't matter whether you eat meat or not, but instead that you start to feel better. I hope you start to see an improvement soon. :)
