@theowl: How many injuries you had? I've had to stop a few times over the 6 years of running as I always get injured 🤕.

i started to having troubles about 5 years ago.. started to get illiotibal band syndrome in both legs. i was doing 11-15 miles every other day. road running and our roads are curved so they are uneven.. i cant do as many miles as i use to as that will act up around 9 miles or so. and the last 2 years when ive been doing treadmill during the winter i would end up with shin splints.

@theowl: yeah, road running isn't that good. I run mostly on my treadmill or in the land near me. I've found that I get more injuries running in a treadmill though 😞. I get knee pain and ankle pain and also shoulder pain from running. It's not good when you know you can run more but injuries are stopping you. You then have to stop running and take time off and then start all over again 😭

yep definitely know that one... do you do races? i mostly just have been doing 5ks since i cant do long distance because of the iliotibial band. but like you said you get running and you get yourself in good condition and running at a good pace then you get injured take time off sometimes its like a month or so before you start running again and its like starting all over again.

@theowl: I don't do races. I only like running on my own at home. Yeah. I had to take a month off for my knee and I kind of lost the will to start again. I only got addicted after running a certain amount of miles and finding it easy. After 4 miles I find it so easy.

yeah after a while you body gets use to it. its more of a mind thing.
