Why do I sometimes have a sore throat right when I wake up but then it goes away on its own after a while?

I woke up, thinking that I should drink some tea to help me throat. But now, I haven't even had tea yet and my sore throat is gone.

@bettylesswear: Well, I had some water once I woke up. I just didn't mention that. But I try to stay hydrated. Most days, water is the only beverage I drink. And I eat whole fruit and vegetables, which have plenty of water in them as well.
