Have you ever worn glasses that had prisms?

I went to the optometrist yesterday, and now I'm waiting for my new prism glasses. I've never had prisms before, and supposedly they'll be a lot heavier than what I have now, but I'm not sure how much heavier.

I did for a while, but my eyes just couldn't adjust. I tried for 6 months,,but the headaches never stopped. I'd put them on, and within five minutes I had a raging headache. Most people don't have that problem, but my eyes are kind of wonky.

@hiddenkitty: my problem is that my eyes aren't the same distance from my nose. Left eye is just a hair off centre.

Oh, I see. My problem is mostly that my eyes don't work together how they're supposed to.

@hiddenkitty: hopefully the prism will help with that. [image deleted]

No, I hope your new glasses help.

Sort of. I need them because my eyes don't work together like normal eyes and I see double sometimes. Prisms are supposed to help me see just one image.

I hope they work for you
