It can if u turn septic from the infection getting to your bloodstream. It's funny that u ask this cause I have that right now and I've gotta go in for a picc line to receive vanco through the IV cause the infection is that bad this time.

@hunkydory: I hope ur cousin feels better and tell him/her to never let it go cause it can turn bad quickly if not addressed fairly fast!
