Mine is from a surgery they think that turned to lymphedema in the right leg and then that made me kinda high risk for cellulitis infection whenever I bump that leg too hard or I get a break in the skin cause it's almost always gonna turn into a bacterial infection such as streptococcus but this particular one is actually pseudomonas and requires a much heavier antibiotic.

It can if u turn septic from the infection getting to your bloodstream. It's funny that u ask this cause I have that right now and I've gotta go in for a picc line to receive vanco through the IV cause the infection is that bad this time.

Yes, it is a serious infection. If not treated it can turn into sepsis.
