Ladies (and perhaps men) , I need suggestions for a really good exfoliater that is affordable too?

My skin is dry and now during the winter it gets worse.
Any other helpful tips will be appreciated.

Exfoliate with a pumice and then lotion, lotion, lotion.

I do when it's dry on my forehead. I rarely get that dry though.
