Ladies (and perhaps men) , I need suggestions for a really good exfoliater that is affordable too?

My skin is dry and now during the winter it gets worse.
Any other helpful tips will be appreciated.

Cinnamon can be use to exfoliate your skin and use a good moisturizing lotion or try coconut oil...

I make a sugar scrub with coconut oil... and sometimes add an essential oil scent I like to it. Also, vitamin E oil is a really good moisturizer☺
@StarLily: i tried Clinique even better (it is a little pricy) it is suppose to be like a bb cream but it does not stay on for very long. What powder are you using?

I use Color Stay pressed powder by Revlon.
@StarLily: actually i use that too :) the translucent one. Just for over my foundation.

Google some home made ones? Those are all naturalllll
I know but googling it is like drowning in an ocean some times. There are just too much information.

Do you use moisturizer? Get some oil free moisturizer. That saves my ass in the winter.
At a low price, try this. It is an allover exfoliator. Cheaper in stores. Try Family Dollar and Dollar General.

@TwinklelilStar: Yes, that is the key. Dove also makes an inexpensive one. But it is not brown sugar. Also less than $5.
thank you 👍
@TwinklelilStar: You are most welcome. Yo can always come to me and ask me beauty related questions. A nice inexpensive exfoliater for the face is

See how it comes with a scrubber? There are other varieties.

But it is not the best drug store facial exfoliator. but still good
St. Ives oatmeal exfoliater is really good. You can also leave it on for a bit as a mask (the bottle says so) because oatmeal is very moisturizing. I think it costs under $10.
Thank you . Will check it out. 💕
You should use a body brush in the shower and moisturize either in or after you get out. There is such a thing as shower lotion. It's quite useful.

Exfoliate with a pumice and then lotion, lotion, lotion.
@GoldenWorm: us women's skin is a little tender but thanks for the advice :)

thanks for the 'womansplaining'
@GoldenWorm: no really respect to a guy that even shows interest.

Coconut oil

Get a small humidifier for your room at night and use coco butter in the morning
The humidifier is not a bad idea. The constant heat in the house in the winter dries everything out.

Oil and gas heat will make a house really dry in the winter

Epsom salt works well for my skin
What do you do with it? My grandmother use to drink Epsom Salt in luke warm water to cleanse her. When i was in high school and first got a few pimples she swore by it. Do you apply it externally?
JarJarBoom · 41-45, F
@TwinklelilStar: yes you can use it as a scrub...
@JarJarBoom: Thank you - some people say baking soda .
