I am having surgery today…..

What are you doing on this Monday?

I am having sinus surgery and my deviated septum fixed. I am not worried about the pain because it is acute and I know it will end. It’s the chronic pain I have that’s hard to manage with.

I can’t eat or drink until like 3pm today and it’s only 7:35am 😭😭😭. I have the worst dry mouth from all these meds I have to take for all my types of arthritis.

I am home now. It took 90 minutes to get my COVID test sorted before I could go into the hospital. The first swab wouldn’t work because the machine malfunctioned and the second one they took to the lab and it was negative.

I had 3 procedures done and I lost quite a bit of blood (10% of my blood volume) and I am pretty tired from the anaesthetic but I am okay. The pain isn’t too bad right now. Thank you all for the well wishes, it really means a lot to me.

@braveheart21 Thank you. I have some good meds for the pain and I know this pain will end. I just want my nose to stop bleeding.

If it doesn't then contact the hospital and let them know... Especially if you have lost quite a bit of blood already in surgery... Please be careful @iamonfire696

@braveheart21 I will, it’s not gushing. Just running a bit. I took tranexamic acid so it should hopefully start working soon and stop the bleeding. Thank you for caring 💖
