I am having surgery today…..

What are you doing on this Monday?

I am having sinus surgery and my deviated septum fixed. I am not worried about the pain because it is acute and I know it will end. It’s the chronic pain I have that’s hard to manage with.

I can’t eat or drink until like 3pm today and it’s only 7:35am 😭😭😭. I have the worst dry mouth from all these meds I have to take for all my types of arthritis.

Good luck. I had my nose totally rebuilt when I was 16 after I broke it (a lot) playing pickup football. Huge improvement - no more sinus headaches, no more nosebleeds. I ended up with packing in my nose to keep it in shape while it healed, so I spent over a week breathing only through my mouth. By the time that was over, my lips were chapped worse than I've ever experienced, and my teeth hurt from breathing through them for that long. Also, removing the packing was one of the most painful experiences I've ever had.
