How to lose weight?

I understand this question has been asked so many times, but im seriously struggling to lose weight.

Is it diet? Can eating less help? Does it matter what i eat, and depend on my calories? Do i need the gym? Can bodyweight exercises and walking help?

Please give me foods to eat

Were you able to put weight just because of over eating? You must have stopped working out to meet how much you ate. You must have lost control over your taste cravings. Now you need to work that every thing.
