49 days after breaking my ankle I went for a drive in my car.

Can not put a shoe on and there is not much flexibility.
Wanted to see if I could drive and the answer is yes.
Got to use my left foot to use the brakes but managed okay.

OMG...I broke mine so badly that I was in the hospital for a month!😣 Take it slow, I wore a "boot" for a long time. I had to have my leg elevated in a wheel chair for months. It takes a long time for broken ankles to heal. I didn't wear shoes for a long time. Don't over do it.😕 Sorry that happened to you.

@Peaches So far the swelling goes down when I am in bed with my leg raised but as soon as I get up, it swells again.
Surely going to take a while before I can go mountain climbing, if ever 🥺
