Have you ever taken Gabapentin (Neurontin) recreationally?

I read that it makes the high come faster since your body doesn't need to break down the capsule first.

@hiddenkitty: I take 1800mg of Gabapentin daily. Its never made me feel high and doesn't do much for pain relief either.

@Muddyboggy: I use it as prescribed normally, but every once in a while I need an extra pick-me-up and I take some extra. It gives me a sense of Euphoria. Right now, I just swallowed an extra pill with water. My skin feels nice.

@hiddenkitty: maybe I'm taking it wrong then :)

@Muddyboggy: I haven't taken it in the parachute fashion yet tonight. One time I mixed it in rootbeer though and drank the powder that way. Later I might take another, and it might be in parachute form. I'll see how I feel.

@hiddenkitty: do you have a prescription for gaba for a particular reason? I began taking it for diabetic peripheral neuropathy about 10 years ago and the prescription has been steadily increased from 300 to 1800mg/day. I've never gotten a good feeling from it

@Muddyboggy: Yeah it's a prescription. I take it for neuropathic pain and I've been taking 600 mg/day for 3 years now.

@hiddenkitty: I'll try parachuting and see if I can get that great feeling also
