Last generation…

I was diagnosed with Shingles today. Then a weird thought hit me. I’m probably part of the last generation where many people can even get Shingles because the Chicken Pox vaccine came along not too long after I had the Chicken Pox.

Yeah. Totally random. I know. 😂

I was just thinking the other day my son never got Chicken Pox. Pretty much everyone I grew up with had it, myself included. You are right there's a whole generation now that will never experience it which is good. Mine was awful I was 12 or 13 and it was hell

@SW-User I was in first grade. It was terrible!!! This shingles crap isn’t any better. I feel old. Lol

@Dewkissedrose hope it heals for you pretty fast. Wish they let us take the shingles vaccine sooner. Friend of mine's husband got shingles real bad he got it all over his head it was so bad for him. I don't want that

@SW-User I think I may have caught it pretty early. Not much pain yet. Just itching like crazy.
