What is the worst physical pain you have ever endured?

For me, it was the kidney stone, but for some, it seems they suffered a lot more with labour pains. I had four babies, two with no kind of anesthesia, and can't really recall the pain. Just remembering the stone, brings tears to my eyes. I think, if it's possible, I may have suffered ptsd for a few years from that four day torture.

I never would dream of telling anybody that my pain was worse than theirs. We all have our own pain threshold. Mine is very high. My dad's was insanely high. He could go through some really horrific pain and deal with it, so when I saw him crying and gnawing a piece of wood to keep from screaming, I knew it was serious.

I stub my toe, and maybe hop around cursing for a minute, someone else might be in agony for hours with a stubbed toe. And they aren't faking. Your suffering is as real as mine, or anybody else's.

I had one stone but problems over more than a month. I also have an extremely high pain threshold and don't tolerate opioid so it was really bad. I had to undergo 2 litotryopsies. The first actually made things worse and I ended up with a severe attack which led to going to the OR for a Stent. That was a pretty awful experience. If I go itno detail on here I would probably be warned or worse!

@samueltyler2: i had to look that up. I had a friend who had to undergo something like that. He just called it shockwave treatment to break up the stone. He also had a stent. When I asked him about it, he simply said,

I don't know if you do or don't. It was an awful experience. Painful, somewhat humiliating but also somewhat of an erotic nature looking back on all of the attention revolving around my genitals if that makes any sense. The SW censors would likely not allow a full description on this format. If he won't tell you and you really are interested, I would be happy to share all of th Medical details, also the strangely erotic nature looking back at it. message me so I know you are interested.

@samueltyler2: no thanks. We were very close. If he said, You don't want to know, it's because he knew me well enough to know I'd find it disturbing. He too mentioned the erotic nature of the experience. He said he never had so many people so interested in his jewels before. And the Gentle was he was being handled by those hands. Yeah, I do have some idea. 😏

So he was being honest with you. I can be totally clinical with you while he might be embarrassed. So keep in mind that I'd be happy to explain it all

No problem. If you ever want one I am here. I was a practicing physician and so have no hang ups with this issue.
