How is the COVID situation in your area?

By @MarineBob
Graylight · 51-55, F
I live in Florida, where our "let the children be free" campaign has resulted in more juvenile Covid cases than all 49 other states. So depending on your scale, we're knockin' out of the park.

@Graylight you’re really not willing to think critically are you?
Where are the grieving moms?
They would be ratings GOLD for any network.
Where are they?
Graylight · 51-55, F
@AthrillatheHunt They're here. I don't have to believe or not believe because the reality is presented right in front of me. Believe as you like, but when choosing caution due to a once in a lifetime pandemic or making sure I get that first latte at Starbucks, I'm going to errr with caution. And should it come down to even a remote possibility a child's life could be diminished or lost because of thoughtless, stupid actions, that's a line I'm not willing to cross.
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@Graylight I totally hear you.

not sure about my city but county I live in they have restrictions on small business but big businesses they can open that's not right
HellsBelle · 31-35, F
stable. my mom got it and was in the hospital 8 days. home now. the doc said there are an above average amount of cases but not lasting long. some may call this bias but i swear, she did also say it is fairly equal between vaxxed and not
LookingForTheSummer · 31-35, M
@HellsBelle Many vaccines aren't effective enough against the Delta variant.
LookingForTheSummer · 31-35, M
There are still some restrictions, and I am getting tired of this shit. I think it's going to be like this for years. I am angry that nobody can make China pay or at least answer for what they've done. 😠

Not to bad overall. Some restrictions still but not strict lockdown.

4th wave is coming . Mandatory vaccines on planes(domestic and international) and trains. Mandatory vaccines for most government, union, healthcare and public education workers. Schools might or might not be opening in September, there are still debates.Public transit is probably next.
ReneeT · 61-69, M
Some numbers are going up but things are still fairly open. Masks are required indoors for those not vaccinated and optional for those who are. And some places are starting to require proof of vaccination
Still 1 person a day unfortunately passes away per day is New Hampshire's current average.
ImRileyTheDog · 22-25, F
It’s fine I think, I don’t really pay attention to it honestly
Zzxxxx · 56-60, M

Negligible to be honest. The cases have been extremely low in the North Country
