Anyone else suffer from severe dry eyes?

What do you use to help it?

No drops have ever given me lasting relief. I apply eye drops more than 10 times THROUGHOUT the night, which constantly disrupt my sleep, mood, and life.

I have tried many brands.
I have used the moist heat eye bean bag thing.
I use a sleep mask.

Nothing helps and it's getting to be unbearable

[c=004A59]Same here. I have perpetually dry red eyes (typical of vampires). I can't wear contact lenses. The last time I tried, the lenses stuck like glue and it took me a half hour to get them out again.

The opthamologist just says use over the counter eye drops, but they don't do much for me.[/c]

@SW-User yea I've gotten a contact stuck to my eye before as well. Very painful.
What do you use to help?
Mine have gotten significantly worse over the months/weeks. Dark circles are getting worse too. I probably don't even sleep 4 hours a night because of this.

@iamnikki [c=004A59]I've given up, because the eye drops were making my eyes more irritated. I only use them now if I get allergic conjunctivitis. I'm prone to getting that in the spring.

I don't get much sleep either. It's 1:40 a.m. here. 🥱[/c]

@SW-User but how do you manage? How is it possible to go all day with irritated eyes and not try to treat it🤔

@iamnikki [c=004A59]It was my eye doctor who pointed out to me that my eyes are in pain all the time. I had become accustomed to it somehow. She said it's a sort of syndrome of dry eyes, dry skin, dry hair and arthritis. I do have to stay out of sunlight.[/c]
