In your opinion, which is worse—physical or psychological addiction to meds?

Psychological addiction. I had to battle MYSELF and my own cravings, and frankly, my own deeply ingrained HABITS when I quit smoking...for ten years. I am VERY stubborn, apparently...😉
@4meAndyou I would have thought nicotine is extremely physically addicting, more so that psychologically?

@CereBellum It leaves one's system completely after a short number of weeks...I think it's five weeks. After that point, ALL of one's addiction symptoms are simply one's own mind having childish fits because one is changing one of it's favorite habits.
@4meAndyou yes I would imagine that the triggers would be enormous.

@CereBellum For me, because I was a chain smoker, I had a cigarette after every meal, and whenever I was driving. I always smoked when I drank a cup of coffee, and whenever I drank alcohol, whenever I was nervous, or whenever I was at a party.
