Trying to ease the minds of those with vaccine hesitancy towards the COVID shot: The vaccine has been fast, NOT rushed.
The vaccines are safe and effective. The speed with which the vaccines have been produced is a testament to what science can accomplish when there is enough political will and resources applied to it.
The vaccine was not rushed. There were no safety steps skipped. It was produced as quickly as it was because we cut through the red tape, profit gouging and resource scarcity.
When you are offered the vaccine, take it.

Yeah that's important to recognize. This vaccine has been through all the same safety protocols that we use for other vaccines. And the technology we're using isn't new or untested.
