Why is it that I cannot handle emotional stress?

Fear reinforces itself.
The more we avoid something the worse it gets.
The trick is to face the unpleasant thing, but do it in small doses. If small isn't small enough go smaller.
When it's easy to cope, increase the intensity or duration in manageable amounts.
With emotions, it helps to regard them as like waves or weather - whether pleasant or not, they are always temporary, always arising and passing away.
One of the best things is exercise. It teaches the system to handle stress extremely well, including emotional and intellectual stress.

You are sensitive to it, are you an empath? That type of stress can take it’s toll on your adrenal system.

@Mindful you need to take care of yourself
I tried making nutritional adjustments and adding a few supplements like turmeric, magnesium glycinate...even lithium orotate, which has made a noticeable difference.
Journaling and focusing more on myself made it easier to tackle how I'm feeling from moment to moment instead of pushing it all away for "later".

Brain chemistry or some science shit. You gotta find coping techniques that work for you. Elon cant save you lol
