PSA for the Flu shot: I know many of you don't get the shot and you say "Well i don't get the flu, i don't need the shot".

Let me submit something for your consideration:
What you attribute to your clean living or robust immune system may indeed just be the result of the herd immunity that you are benefiting from without contributing to it.

Food for thought.

I'd get one but they're almost impossible to find this year (imagine when one for Corona will be out 馃槓).

As a plus, I wouldn't want to get Corona itself just by entering and breathing in the same room where my doctor also visits potentially positive patients. Especially now during a re-surge of cases.
@Elessar

Yeah there has been a big rush on flu shots this year.

That's actually a very concerning trend that primary care physicians have been noticing. People aren't coming in for the things that they normally come in for. It's not like these conditions and complaints are no longer occurring, it's just that people are afraid to come in and deal with them.

@Pikachu Since the whole contact-tracing system collapsed here, family doctors are now asked to perform antigenic tests as well, which means potentially suspect cases of Corona go there, lower their masks, get their noses fiddled with, breathe in the room, and then leave. I'll have to be very sick to get to my GP in such conditions.

They have yet to figure that transmission occurs also through aerosols and not only droplets in this country. And adapt the guidelines consequently.
@Elessar

Yeah exactly, right? People aren't wrong to be cautious about going to the doctor at a time like this.
