How many drinks a week is unhealthy?

I wouldn’t know. Am sure Im well past that number
Graylight · 51-55, F
Physically, the most recent guidelines suggest no more than 10 drinks per 7 days, or 1.4 drinks a day. For women, it's seven. Even stricter guidelines suggest no amount of alcohol is healthy for the body.

If it's a not a question so much about how many drinks are healthy but more about whether the amount being drunk are okay, you may want to talk to someone. Concern over intake is a potential sign things are poised to get out of control.

I'm not qualified to say. When it becomes a problem, it becomes a problem? I tend to have a few drinks, once or twice a week. Although alcohol has never been my crutch. Cannabis, however, I can't seem to live without.

It's all down to the individual and their own sense of moderation, or lack there of.

No such thing.

In today’s society a quart of vodka or a case of beer or 4 bottles of wine a day is considered normal. Go over that and automatically get shock treatment. Personally I don’t drink.

1 oz of alcohol equals 1 drink. That is one jigger. If you have more than three drinks a week, and find that you need it, that is an unhealthy tendency in you.

The nanny state will be only too happy to tell you.

I'm sure I'm past the unhealthy level. I need to switch to organic beer.
