My Yoga Teacher is a self-confessed drug addict

Obviously Yoga is not working for my yoga teacher... or at least she must not be practicing it right...to need drugs to cope with life.

Yoga is supposedly the fountain of eternal bliss and health..

I just want to know if there are other people out there whose Yoga teacher is also a drug abuser, and why they told you why they do it.

This is getting weird...each time we get deeper into Yogic psychology, our Yoga teacher talks about getting High.

I didn't had any regular yoga instructor. But what I observed from interacting with good yogis and reading about the yoga system is that in true sense you should not be ignoring the first two parts of ashtanga yoga, i.e. Yama (abstinences) and Niyama (observances), if you really want to have insight into the bliss.

When you have the strong roots to grow in true sense.

I feel she should not be teaching yoga, it's an insult to yoga, and also defaming Yoga.
