My Yoga Teacher is a self-confessed drug addict

Obviously Yoga is not working for my yoga teacher... or at least she must not be practicing it right...to need drugs to cope with life.

Yoga is supposedly the fountain of eternal bliss and health..

I just want to know if there are other people out there whose Yoga teacher is also a drug abuser, and why they told you why they do it.

This is getting weird...each time we get deeper into Yogic psychology, our Yoga teacher talks about getting High.

Actually it can happen very easily. All it would take is someone suffering an injury and it is well documented that the big pharma companies were incentivizing over-prescription of opiates which is the number one reason for the opiate crisis.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow my yoga teacher does not seem to know how to use eastern medicine right or something
@DianaGyana Yoga and biochemistry are very different. Yoga can be good for your health but it is not magic.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow true... it is hard work for it to really work no?
@DianaGyana Yoga can give you a strong healthy body and a focused mind but it doesn't do anything for chemical dependence.

@DianaGyana How do you come to that conclusion? Again, it is not magic.
