My sister went to the pharmacy to get her medication right after the quarantine began, she wore a mask, goggles, gloves, had a bottle of hand sanitizer in her pocket for after she touched anything, and a pack of Kleenex in her pocket to have to open doors with, and a plastic bag with her to dispose of her Kleenexes. She also bought a can of Lysol spray to spray down the bottom of her shoes & would leave them outside her door when she came home. And spray down anything someone touched that she had bought before she put it away in her house. I hope she didn’t forget anything.

I bought a square of real copper, and I keep that next to a chair next to my front door so I can sit down and place my shoes on the copper after stepping into my apartment. Copper kills the virus in 3 hours, according to a CDC researcher.
I didn't buy face masks until they were mandated by our governor. But I did buy vinyl gloves, and I wore them at all times inside my building and did not touch my mail or surfaces unless the gloves were on. We had one active case of the virus in my building.
I used to wear a bandanna, but I would place a sheet of common paper toweling in between the folds of the bandanna, so it was three layers. And just as useless as the masks I purchased later on. The virus is so tiny it can even penetrate an N95 mask.
I have a "mail area" in my entry, and I just leave my mail there for 24 hours for cardboard boxes and paper, and 3 days for plastic. The virus just dies naturally on those types of surfaces.
Groceries just go where they go, and I wash my hands carefully after touching them.
For some reason, I am just exhausted with all of this...(might be the anemia)...and have gradually grown more and more relaxed about it. I no longer change my shoes when I enter the apartment. I don't use the copper square. I finally allowed my sick friend to come and visit, and he seems to be getting healthier, and two days ago I went downstairs and realized I didn't even put on my gloves...😂. So I washed my hands and then used hand sanitizer.
So I guess my point is, it's easy to be scared stupid. But no one can keep that up and live a normal life.
@4meAndyou she was even lecturing people on not using cash to pay for things because money is a germ vector.... wanted everyone to pay with plastic and then about wiping down atm cards and keypads etc
@cherokeepatti She probably bought one of those key thingies...it writes, it pushes buttons and it opens doors. Cash has been dirty for a looooong time. I guess with this virus people are finally thinking about that.
@4meAndyou I went out and did whatever without doing any of those things. What I did do was take zinc, drink lemon and lime juice with water and make sure I ate enough fruits and veggies each day. I don’t get flu shots because they mess with my immune system. My sister gets them & gets sick with one thing after another all winter long and thinks she is doing the right thing by getting more flu shots
@4meAndyou She doesn’t use common sense with anything medical. Drinks copious amounts of drinks that flush out water soluble vitamins, minerals & medications from her body and then goes and gets medical treatment because of it. She had to have her meds quadrupled because of it
