The whole 10,000 steps thing.

Does anyone here walk for weight loss? It's my intention to walk no less than 70,000 steps per week. According to that, 1 lb should be lost every week without drastically changing eating habits even though I know that would help. Any tips?Any personal facts behind this?

In general exercise doesn't contribute a whole lot to weight loss. In fact in terms of diet, exercise and sleep exercise is pretty much at the bottom but, it certainly does promote good health. Diet accounts for something like 80% of weight loss.

Yup. I put it at 75% diet.@MrBlueGuy
@AthrillatheHunt Yeah I mean it depends on the amount of exercise I guess the problem is most people exercise..and then feel hungry and then just consume back the calories they burned during their workout. Like I said it's certainly good to exercise it promotes good health, you feel awesome, but people that don;t change their diet and run endlessly on a treadmill won't see a whole lot of results
